A Seismic Connection between California and Yellowstone?

Over the past couple years, I've taken a liking the to the page on the USGS web site that's titled, ANSS Recent Earthquake Activity in the USA, at http://earthquake.usgs.gov/recenteqsUS/ . Since the USGS doesn't seem to offer an archive of past versions of the map shown on the page, I started keeping my own archive, saving a copy when ever I took a fancy to a particular version.

After viewing the page enough times, I noticed a pattern of microquakes that usually stretches between California and Yellowstone.
